These pages contain pictures and information of my model cars, trucks, vans and motor bikes I've made over the years.
I think every modeller has phases where they do models for a while, then take a break, which can last years. All of these models displayed here are from my previous burst of modelling, before I educated myself on advanced modelling, things like opening up doors, boots etc, adding wiring for not only spark plug leads but hand brake cables, fuel lines, radiator over flow pipes etc.
The projects page is the latest phase, while I don't get much time as I'd like to play with them I plod along slowly including my new found knowledge making each one more advanced than the last.
Myself, I'm a 40 something year old male from New Zealand, started modelling as a kid, as most of us do, or did. I tend to make all sorts, from drag to race to street to custom and beyond, the only thing I don't build is everyday (normal) family cars.
I'm a panel beater (bodyman) by trade, not that it really matters what you do for making models, but I always wanted to follow in the foot steps of the great customises like George Barris, Tom Daniel's etc. But as New Zealand is small, the market is even smaller, so I guess knowing what I know I can involve it in model making.
Don't let that put you off thinking you cant do some crazy customising work just because you aren't/weren't a panel beater, your only limitation is your imagination, even then, there are plenty of books, pictures, ideas to get inspiration from.
My words of advice: Be yourself, live your own life, not that of others. Never give into peer pressure, never give up your dreams, your goals and remember that if we don't make mistakes we don't learn.
Every day is a learning day, never think you know it all as no one ever does.
Here's to hoping everyone could be happy with what they have and/or are.
I no longer include a contact page or email address as 99% of emails are from folks asking where they can get X part or X kit. I'm not a shop, I don't sell parts, kits or decals etc. If you want to contact me for something other than asking for parts or kits etc then use the link by the copyright (bottom left) and use the contact form on my main site.
The ads on this site are for my webhosting costs and for more model kits :)
